A Life Dedicated to the Bhagavad Gita Beyond All Boundaries

Presented by Dr. Syed Sallauddin Pasha’s Miracle On Wheels and his specially abled students
On the occasion of International Geeta Jayanthi

Dr. Syed Sallauddin Pasha’s Miracle On Wheels, along with its professionally trained disabled students, proudly presented “A Life Dedicated to the Bhagavad Gita Beyond All Boundaries”, a deeply moving and spiritually elevating performance in celebration of International Geeta Jayanthi.

Dr. Syed Sallauddin Pasha, by birth a Muslim, stands today as a living symbol of India’s spiritual inclusivity and universal wisdom. Rising above religious identities, he has dedicated his entire life to the Bhagavad Gita, studying it profoundly and presenting its eternal philosophy through the powerful medium of dance theatre in more than seven languages—performed with devotion and discipline by his Miracle On Wheels disabled artistes.

Specially directed and choreographed by Guru Dr. Syed Sallauddin PashaBhagavad Gita on Wheels is a globally acclaimed, first-of-its-kind spiritual dance production that unites the Bhagavad Gita, Natyashastra, classical Indian dance, and inclusive performing arts. The production is uniquely brought to life by artists with disabilities, whose performances embody the essence of karma, bhakti, and surrender through movement on wheelchairs.

renowned dance scholar, disability rights activist, and the inventor of Wheelchair Dance, Dr. Pasha has choreographed more than 100 landmark dance productions, many of them historic world-firsts. Through his pioneering concepts of Classical Wheelchair Dance and Therapeutic Dance Theatre, he has empowered thousands of persons with disabilities (Divyangjan)—transforming wheelchairs into instruments of rhythm, devotion, dignity, and divine storytelling.

A recipient of prestigious State and National Awards, including the National Award from the Hon’ble President of India and the Karnataka Kalashree Award, Dr. Pasha’s work is recognised nationally and internationally as a benchmark in inclusive arts, disability empowerment through dance, and spiritual innovation.

Dr. Pasha has truly dedicated his life to the Bhagavad Gita, not as a scripture belonging to one religion, but as a universal guide for humanity—teaching karma, dharma, compassion, surrender, and selfless service. His life and his students’ performances together convey the powerful message that art, spirituality, and humanity transcend all religious boundaries.

On 1st December 2025, Dr. Syed Sallauddin Pasha was commissioned by the Government of Madhya Pradesh to present Bhagavad Gita on Wheels. These historic performances were staged at Bhopal on 1st December and Ujjain on 3rd December 2025. By a rare and meaningful coincidence, these presentations coincided with both the International Day of Persons with Disabilities and the global observance of International Geeta Jayanthi, powerfully reinforcing the ideals of inclusion, equality, and universal spiritual wisdom.

That a person born into Islam has devoted his entire life to propagating the message of the Bhagavad Gita through dance, and has enabled disabled students to perform it with such depth and devotion, stands as a profound testimony to India’s civilisational ethos—where spirituality rises above religion, and humanity above all divisions.

Dr. Syed Sallauddin Pasha’s journey affirms one eternal truth:

“The Bhagavad Gita belongs not to one faith, but to the soul of the world.”

And through Bhagavad Gita on Wheels, performed by the Miracle On Wheels disabled students, he continues to carry that message—on stage, on wheels, and into the hearts of millions across the globe.
