COLLEGE OF PERFORMING ARTS

Ability Unlimited – College of Performing Arts has launched Certificate and Diploma courses in Wheelchair Dance and Choreography, a pioneering initiative aimed at empowering disabled persons through the transformative power of dance and performing arts. These unique programs are specifically designed for individuals with disabilities, offering them a platform to develop their skills in dance, choreography, and stage performance. In collaboration with Karnataka State Dr. Gangubhai Hangal Music and Performing Arts University, Mysore, this effort strengthens Ability Unlimited’s reputation as a leader in inclusive arts education and a dance college for disabled persons.
The courses offer specialized training in Classical Wheelchair Bharatanatyam, Wheelchair Dance Techniques, Yoga, Choreography, Stagecraft, Costume Design, and more. Students will explore traditional Indian dance forms, adapted to their unique needs, creating a fusion of artistic expression and physical empowerment. This program aims to revolutionize inclusive dance education, making it accessible to everyone, regardless of physical ability. It promotes artistic inclusion, cultural diversity, and social empowerment, providing a supportive environment for disabled dancers to thrive.
